The event will continue for some time after the opening of the seal !

Rev 6:1 And I saw when the Lamb opened
one of the seals, and
I heard one of the four living creatures like a sound of thunder,
saying, Come and see.
Rev 6:2 And I saw. And behold a white horse! And he sitting on it had a bow. And a crown was given to him, and he went forth conquering and to conquer.
Rev 6:3 And when He had opened the second seal,
I heard the second living creature say, Come and see.
Rev 6:5 And when He had opened the third seal,
I heard the third living creature say, Come and see.
And I looked, and lo, a black horse.
And he sitting on
it had a balance in his hand.
Rev 6:7 And when He had opened the fourth seal,
I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, Come and see.
Rev 6:9 And when He had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the Word of God, and for the testimony which they held. Rev 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, Until when, Master, holy and true, do You not judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth? Rev 6:11 And white robes were given to each one of them. And it was said to them that they should rest yet for a little time, until both their fellow servants and their brothers (those about to be killed as they were ) should have their number made complete.
Rev 6:12 And when He had opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a a great earthquake. And the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. Rev 6:13 And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, even as a fig tree casts her untimely figs when she is shaken by a mighty wind. Rev 6:14 And the heaven departed like a scroll when it is rolled together. And every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

Rev 7:1 And after these things I saw
four angels standing on the
four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth
so that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea,
nor on any tree.
Rev 7:2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Rev 7:3 saying, Do not hurt the earth or the sea or the trees until we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. Rev 7:4 And I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred and forty-four thousands, having been sealed out of every tribe of the sons of Israel.
Rev 7:5 Out of the tribe of Judah, twelve thousand had been sealed. Out of the tribe of Reuben, twelve thousand had been sealed. Out of the tribe of Gad, twelve thousand had been sealed. Rev 7:6 Out of the tribe of Asher, twelve thousand had been sealed. Out of the tribe of Naphtali, twelve thousand had been sealed. Out of the tribe of Manasseh, twelve thousand had been sealed. Rev 7:7 Out of the tribe of Simeon, twelve thousand had been sealed. Out of the tribe of Levi, twelve thousand had been sealed. Out of the tribe of Issachar, twelve thousand had been sealed. Rev 7:8 Out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve thousand had been sealed. Out of the tribe of Joseph, twelve thousand had been sealed. Out of the tribe of Benjamin, twelve thousand had been sealed.
Rev 7:9 After these things I looked, and lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, out of all nations and kindreds and people and tongues, stood before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palms in their hands. Rev 7:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God sitting on the throne, and to the Lamb. Rev 7:11 And all the angels stood around the throne, and the elders, and the four living creatures, and they fell before the throne on their faces and worshiped God, Rev 7:12 saying, Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God forever and ever. Amen. Rev 7:13 And one of the elders answered, saying to me, Who are these who are arrayed in white robes, and from where do they come? Rev 7:14 And I said to him, Sir, you know. And he said to me, These are the ones who came out of the great tribulation and have washed their robes, and have whitened them in the blood of the Lamb. Rev 7:15 Therefore they are before the throne of God, and they serve Him day and night in His temple. And He sitting on the throne will dwell among them. Rev 7:16 They will not hunger any more, nor thirst any more, nor will the sun light on them, nor any heat. Rev 7:17 For the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will feed them and will lead them to the fountains of living waters. And God will wipe away all tears from their eyes (they were crying...).
